October 10, 2021 marks the 25th anniversary of Aerophone Enterprises & Co, the pioneer and Cebu’s preferred destination for mobile technology since 1996. Aerophone has grown from a humble company with only two (2) staff to a well-respected and trusted distributor and retailer of international brands like Samsung, Apple, Vivo, Huawei, Oppo, Realme, Xiaomi, Nokia, Tecno Mobile, iTel, Infinix, Capdase, Acer, Lavanda, and many others.

Throwback on how Aerophone started…
Aerophone was founded on October 10, 1996 and started renting a small space at the Raintree Mall in Cebu City. It envisions being the eminent retailer among mobile phones, accessories and laptop retailers nationwide.
In October 1997, Aerophone became an exclusive dealer of Express Telecommunications Co. Inc. (a.k.a EXTELCOM) as the sole distributor of its prepaid services. This paved the way for Aerophone to open several outlets outside Cebu and in some parts of Mindanao like Cagayan De Oro, Iligan, Ozamis and Davao City. In 1998, Aerophone was recognized by EXTELCOM as the Best Performing Distributor on a national level. Despite the odds it faced then, Aerophone managed to get back on its feet with the boom of the mobile phone industry in the country. In early 2000’s Aerophone expanded its services with its affiliation with Globe, Smart, Piltel and Islacom.

Several recognitions were received from various institutions through the years including the “Most Outstanding Cellphones & Accessories Shop by the Philippine Marketing Association in 2004 and 2006, the #1 Cellular Phones & Accessories Shop by the Asian Philippine Association of Marketing Professionals in 2005, Best Cellphones and Accessories Shop by the National Product Quality Excellence Awards in 2006, Axis Cebu’s Outstanding Reseller in 2010, Eastspark Corporation’s Outstanding Reseller in 2011, National Consumer’s Choice Awardee for Most Trusted Name in Cellular Phones and Accessories in 2014, Outstanding Retailer of the Year by the Philippine Retailers Association in 2016, and many others.
Today, shoppers can visit over 100 Aerophone and Cybertech stores in Manila, Visayas and Mindanao.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the Philippines, Aerophone was one of the first retailers to re-activate its own E-commerce store www.aerophone.com.ph to serve everyone’s gadgets essentials nationwide with free customized gift wrapping and nationwide delivery.
As part of the anniversary celebration, Aerophone also launched the AEROFORCE@25 Consumer Raffle Promo last September 10, 2021 and over P250,000 weekly raffle surPRIZES were given away leading to the grand draw on October 10, 2021. This nationwide promo was sponsored by brand partners: Samsung, Apple, Vivo, Oppo, Huawei, Realme, Xiaomi, Nokia, Tecno Mobile, Infinix and Smart Communications.\

Aerophone silver anniversary celebration carries the banner theme “AEROFORCE@25: Iba Ang Lakas Mo!” Indeed, Aerophone has gone through so many trials as an organization, yet by the grace of God and the commitment of the owners, its loyal employees and business partners, it has triumphantly remained the country’s trusted destination for mobile technology.
