CEBU CITY, Philippines—Talisaynon basketball fans will get to see top-notch basketball action as the Pilipinas Super League (PSL) 21-U VisMin Leg heads to Talisay City on Thursday, July 28, 2022.
A total of eight games will be hosted by the Lawaan I gymnasium in Barangay Lawaan starting on Thursday as the league enters week three of its hard court action.
On Thursday, the PSL 21-U Aspirants Division champion and the unbeaten Consolacion Sarok Weavers takes on the Bogo City Bugoys at 8 p.m.
The first game on Thursday features the Lapu-Lapu City Pantum taking on the OCCCI-Ormoc Sheer Masters at 6 p.m.
The Sarok Weavers are unbeaten at 3-0, while the Bugoys have yet to earn their first win in three games.
The Bugoys’ most previous game was against the Bukidnon Cowboys, where they lost, 76-64.
Meanwhile, the Sarok Weavers’ previous game was on July 17 against the Asturias Corn Ranchers, where they won, 68-65.
After that, the Sarok Weavers went on an 11-day rest.
On Friday, July 29, the Bukidnon Cowboys (2-1) will try to bounce back from their July 23 loss against the Sheermasters (1-2) at the Cebu City Sports Institute by taking on the unbeaten SEALCOR Cagayan de Oro Kingfishers (4-0) at 6 p.m.
In the second game, the Sherilin-Unisol Mandaue City (2-2) will face the formidable Davao Occidental Dreamers (3-1) at 8 p.m.
The Dreamers are fresh from demolishing the San Fernando Buffalos (2-3) last July 23 at the Cebu City Sports Institute. Also, Mandaue eked out a win against Asturias Corn Ranchers,76-74, last July 24 at the same venue.
On Saturday, July 30, the Bugoys face the Corn Ranchers at 6 p.m. followed by Lapu-Lapu City Pantum (1-2) and Bukidnon’s showdown at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, Mandaue City faces the Buffalos at 6 p.m. while Ormoc squares off with the Sarok Weavers at 8 p.m.
