MANILA, Philippines — Local oil companies announced fuel prices will increase again as adjustments are set to be made beginning August 29 (Tuesday).
Cleanfuel and Seaoil announced on Monday their gasoline prices would go up by P0.30 per liter and diesel by P0.70 per liter.
Seaoil also said a P0.80 increase in kerosene price.
For Cleanfuel, the adjustment will take effect on Tuesday at 4:01 p.m., while Seaoil’s hike will begin at 6 a.m.
Petron, on the other hand, has yet to issue an advisory regarding the scheduled price increase.
Petron Customer Interaction Center, however, told INQUIRER.net that the firm is also set to adjust its fuel prices on August 29.
These hikes mark the country’s 8th consecutive week of fuel price spikes.
