A floating restaurant is being proposed to be set up in the municipality of Dauis in Bohol province.
MANDAUE City, Cebu — A Korean investor and members of his team visited the Bohol Provincial Capitol on Sept. 20. to make a presentation of their proposal to invest P12 billion on a floating restaurant there.
The investment will occupy a 40 to 60 hectare area in Dauis, a 4th class municipality on Panglao Island in Bohol.
In an advisory, the provincial government said that the proposed complex would accommodate eight international restaurants and a mall.

Check Korean investor, proposed project
Bohol Governor Erico Aris Aumentado has directed officials of the Bohol Provincial Environment Management Office (BPEMO) and Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (BEDIPO) to help in “assessing the potential project and making sure the investors follow the correct process of setting their business proposal and that the complex will not cause any environmental damage.”
Aside from that, Aumentado also welcomed on September 21, a delegation from the Bangladesh Local Government Division (LGD) and PRABRIDDHI-swisscontact.

The group included Project Director and Joint Secretary MD Kamal Hussain, Joint Secretary Kabir Mahmood, Deputy Secretary Farzana Mannan, Project Director and Deputy Secretary Poly Kar, Senior Assistant Secretary A.K.M. Anisuzzaman, PRABRIDDHI–swisscontact Public Sector Management Specialist Rukhen Uddin Ahmed, and Knowledge and Communications Management and Advocacy Officer Naziba Naila Wafa.
During the visit, the group discussed with Aumentado “possible opportunities to boost tourism and investments, especially in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs),” among others.
They also talked of means to forge better relationships and understanding between the two governments.
