Leaving no one behind, Converge ICT has released yet another exciting addition to their growing product portfolio, Bida Fiber, during a launch in Don Vicente Rama Memorial School in Barangay Basak San Nicolas in Cebu City last September 30, 2023. At just P888 a month, BIDA Fiber is the best priced postpaid fiber internet plan with no data cap to date.

You can apply for Converge Bida Fiber with 1 valid ID and a completed application form that you can find on their website or in any Converge outlet nearest you.

When asked why they came up with such a product, Dennis Anthony Uy, Converge ICT CEO and Co-Founder, shared that this is in line with his goal—to serve the unserved and underserved. Uy strongly believes that access to the internet is no longer a privilege but a right in today’s day and age. With the release of Bida Fiber, Converge is now able to serve households up to 6 devices with a speed of up to 35 Mbps at an affordable price.

Martin Nery, Bida Fiber’s Business Unit Head, shared that their research shows that 80% of online media is consumed indoors. While mobile plans are popular for those out and about, fiber internet found its audience in students of online learning, entrepreneurs with online businesses, and families with loved ones abroad. Whether it’s for work, for entertainment, or even to stay connected, Converge Bida Fiber aims to give you easy and affordable access to fast internet within the four walls of your home.

“The power of the internet was evident especially during the pandemic when we were all forced to turn to the internet to go to school or make a livelihood,” said Vice Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia who attended the launch. Mayor Mike Rama even called Bida Fiber “manna from heaven”. Both Hon. Rama and Hon. Garcia attended the launch to support Converge.

“We are very excited because Bida Fiber is the first postpaid broadband internet with no data cap that is priced at this level. Subscribers can’t even believe it’s real,” said Nery, “And now we are here today to show them that it is.” He also shared that Bida Fiber was first released in March of this year so that they can test the market and gauge market feedback. Since then, Bida Fiber is available in 588 cities and municipalities across the Philippines.

Converge plans to deepen BIDA’s reach into metro cities, including Pasay, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Taguig, and others, throughout the year. The expansion will cover North and South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, building on its current presence in 588 cities and municipalities nationwide.

Converge prides itself in a network that puts its subscribers first. Prior to the launch, Uy and the Converge team made sure to visit their subscribers, specifically sari-sari store owner and online entrepreneur, Finah Natividad of Barangay Punta Princesa in Cebu City. Natividad was so satisfied with Converge service in her home in A. Lopez that she made sure to install Bida Fiber in her household in Barangay Punta Princesa last month. She lives in Punta Princesa with 3 other adults and her 2 children. She was quick to praise Converge and their fast service so she can keep her toddlers entertained and at the same time, make a livelihood as an online seller.

Bida subscribers like Finah also get complimentary BlastTV access. Offered as a free Value- Added Service (VAS) under the company’s first-in-the-market “Watch Now, Pay Zero” initiative, BlastTV is a streaming television service designed to elevate entertainment, lifestyle, and sports viewing experiences for all Converge subscribers.
