CEBU CITY, Philippines — Boholano boxing fans are in for a treat as the “Kumong Bol-Anon XII” features a stacked fight card on November 4, 2023, at the Bohol Wisdom gymnasium in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. 

Aside from the main event pitting PMI Bohol Boxing Stable’s Regie “Filipino Phenom” Suganob and Venezuelan Ronald Chacon for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Global light flyweight title, there will also be nine more exciting bouts lined-up on November 4’s slambang affair.

Co-mainer of Suganob fight

The co-main event features undefeated Cebuano prospect Christian Balunan against Aditep Maungcharoen of Thailand for the WBO Asia Pacific mini flyweight title for eight rounds. 

The 23-year-old Balunan of Consolacion town, north Cebu has an impressive 8-0 (win-loss) record with four knockouts. This will be his first title bout in his budding pro career.

He will go up against Maungcharoen who is also unbeaten in five bouts with three knockouts. This will be his first time fighting outside Thailand. At the same time, he also serves as Balunan’s first foreign opponent.

Other fight cards in Suganob vs Chacon bout

Also, the fight card features a rare all-female bout that pits three-time world title challenger Casey “Lady Hawaiian Punch” Croft Morton of Hawaii against Arisara Weesitwongsa of Thailand in a six-rounder showdown under the 116lbs division. 

The other all-female bout will have Althea Shine Pores of Misamis Oriental against Bukidnon’s Charimae Salvador.

Polish Rosiak-Talisay Cemino fight

Another must-watch showdown is between Polish Patryk Rosiak against Talisay City, Cebu’s Ralph David Cemino in a four-rounder curtain opener in the welterweight division. 

Also adding excitement to the fight card are two of PMI Bohol Boxing Stable’s prospects in Gerwin Asilo and Shane Gentallan. 

The unbeaten Asilo (6-0, 2KOs) of Ubay Bohol takes on Jerry Pabila (7-10,5KOs) of Cotabato in an eight-round bout under the 118lbs division.

Meanwhile, Gentallan (7-1, 4KOs), the reigning WBO Oriental Youth minimumweight champion fights undefeated Cebuano Johnro Taneo (4-0-1, 3KOs).

Rest of fight card

The rest of the fight card will have Reymart Tagacanao vs. Jason Mopon, Sugarey Leonard Pores vs. Jayfe Mabale, and Richard Laspoña vs. Steven Lagrama.
