Two persons died and two others injured in shooting incidents in Sibonga town and the City of Naga.
According to SPO1 Inocentes Amistad of the Sibonga Police Office, Samuel Dapitan, a 58-year-old farmer died after Benjie Sabio, 32 allegedly shoot him while they were having a drinking session in a store around 9 p.m. last Sunday in barangay Tubod, Sibonga town.
Injured in the shooting was Geovannie Quinanola, 18, who happened to be in the store to buy cigarettes.
In the City of Naga, Randy Ocan was shot dead by unknown assailants while drinking with a friend identified only as “Dugong.”
Supt. Brindo Nacario, chief of the Naga Police Office said, the victim was a known toughie in the area and an ex convict. While drinking, two unidentified men arrived and upon seeing them, Ocan immediately pulled a gun but was struck first by the unknown assailants with stone, causing him to fall to the ground.
The assailants finished off Ocan using his own gun before fleeing. They also shot “Dugong” who police believe was wounded when he fled.
