A 62-year-old farmer died after he was hit by a speeding motorcycle at 7 p.m. last Saturday along the national road of sitio Cot-coton barangay Sta. Felomina, Alegria, southwestern Cebu.
Roberto Libron suffered head injuries which caused his death.
According to the police, Glenn Mark Quinquinita, 21, the driver of the motorcycle, and Kymjeke Anero, 21, his backrider, was traveling along the highway without any headlights on when Libron suddenly crossed the street.
Quinquita surrendered to the Alegria police who brought him to the hospital to treat the injuries on his face.
Police are keeping an eye on Quinquita while they await the victim’s relatives to file a case against the motorcycle driver.
