A 31-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed by his father in Dumanjug town, southern Cebu.
The incident happened in barangay Bitoon while Rogelio Villalibos and his wife were celebrating their wedding anniversary last Wednesday night.
Police said Villalibos and his son Roy were drinking when they suddenly argued and ended up having a fistfight.
When Rogelio was overpowered, he took a knife and stabbed his son in the abdomen, said PO3 Rafael Alvero of the Dumanjug Police Station.
Roy was brought to the Barili District Hospital. He was later moved to a hospital in Cebu City.
Police arrested Rogelio.
He refused to say what caused the argument.
