THE OBEY Developmental League culminated with three different squads hoisting the championship trophies in the three different divisions during the finals that was held last weekend at the East Visayan Academy gym.

Winning the 10-under class was the Coach K squad of head coach Mike Cenabre which beat the University of San Jose-Recoletos, 38-36. Cody Ochayo led the charge for Coach K with 17 markers. However, named MVP of the division was Gil Pada of USJ-R.

Meanwhile, the 13-under division title was captured by the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu which again denied USJ-R, 49-44, behind the outstanding performance of Lowell Francis Chan who tallied 15 markers. Chan was eventually named MVP of the age group.

Finally, in the 17-under division, the Cebu Institute of Technology-University/Thumbs-Up slipped past the Coach K, 58-55. Ivan Ares, who was eventually named as the division’s MVP, powered his squad to victory with his 20 points.
