Lapu’s 6th most wanted falls

One of Lapu-Lapu City’s most wanted person was arrested Friday afternoon by police in Negros Oriental.

Jerome Omboy was arrested in Sitio Bateria, Barangay Poblacion, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental at 4:34 p.m.

Omboy, who is the 6th Most Wanted Person in the Lapu-Lapu City, is wanted for the murder of a Philippine Navy officer PO2 Edwin Orbanos Leogan. The Navy officer was killed near Mactan Bay Inn Motel, BM Dimataga St., Brgy. Poblacion, Lapu- Lapu City last January 14, 2014.

A team of operatives of the police intelligence branches of Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, Negros Oriental, and the Police Regional Office arrested Omboy by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Lapu-Lapu City Judge Victor Teves.
