Taking photos this Sinulog includes submitting the best “selfie” to win a prize.
Digital natives can enjoy the festival and join the social media photo contest which runs until January 24.
The contest is open to everyone and requires no registration fee. There are winners for best Sinulog photo, best Sinulog selfie, and best Sinulog photo by a Cebu-based media correspondent or blogger.
Winners will receive an LTE pocket Wi-Fi and other premium items from Smart Communications which is mounting the contest with the Sinulog Foundation Inc and InnPub Media, said Max Limpag in a press conference on Monday.
Just add the hashtag #smartsinulog or if it applies, add #media or #blogger after every photo. Photos can be uploaded on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Max is a Cebuano editor who co-founded InnoPub Media with his journalist wife, Marlen. Together with Smart, they created the Sinulog Guide mobile application.
