JOSEPH Yu and Ester Francisco were named Bowlers Of the Month for May in last weekend’s Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) monthly tournament held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Yu placed second to March Bowler of the Month Ging Francisco with 1,049 pinfalls. CETBA officials automatically proclaimed Yu and Ester Francisco as the monthly winners.
Franciso (936 pinfalls) was also named winner after women’s division top placer Baby Bacon already won a monthly tilt. Emi Osada, who downed 986 pins finished second but she, too, already had a title under her belt..
Rounding off the top three in the men’s division was Fred Torrequemada with 1,049 pinfalls. Yu won over Torrequemada because of a bigger average.
