IF YOU missed the film “Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B” during last year’s QCinema International Film Festival, here’s another chance for you watch it on the big screen as it opens tomorrow.
The movie is one of 12 official entries of Pista ng Pelikula ng Pilipino (PPP) 2017 which will run until August 22.
A dark romance indie film topbilled by Kapuso stars Ryza Cenon and Martin del Rosario, “Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B” is directed Prime Cruz under Indioboy Productions.
Promoting the movie, Cenon in an Instagram post (@iamryzacenon) said, “Meet Jewel and Nico. Malapit nyo na sila mapanood sa mga sinehan sa Aug. 16-22 ang Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B.”
The story is about Jewel (Cenon) who falls in love with Nico (del Rosario), a broken-hearted guy. Little did Nico know that Jewel harbors a dark secret—she is a “manananggal” or a vampire-like mythical creature.
The film’s official page posted the official trailer with a caption that reads, “Ayaw magmahal dahil ayaw masaktan. O ayaw makasakit?
