AFTER the blockbuster success of the film “Imagine You and Me,” more blessings are pouring in Alden Richards.
On GMA’s Sunday PinaSaya, GMA records management surprised Alden by giving him a 7x Platinum Award for his album “Wish I May.”
Alden, who celebrated with Maine Mendoza their first anniversary as a love team on Eat Bulaga! last Saturday, received the plaque in tears from Rene Salta, Managing Director of GMA Records.
“Kahit na ang dami nang nagdududa umano sa akin, thank you. At saka po dun naman po sa mga supporters na may nagdi-
dikta sa inyo may nagsasabi sa inyo, alam naman po ninyo kung ano ‘yung tama. Alam ko kung sino ang dapat paniwalaan. At alam ko kung sino ang may mabuting puso,” he said.
The award came a few days after Alden’s first solo movie with Maine hit cinemas last July 13, earning P21.5 million on its first day alone.
