A container van got stuck under the flyover in Maguikay, Mandaue City at 3 pm Wednesday.
Traffic investigator PO1 Rico Fenilong said the van came from ML Quezon and was headed to AC Cortes when the accident occured.
The 22-year-old van driver identified as Rene Blanco, a resident of Calderohan Barangay Maguikay Mandaue City was unhurt.
Based on the monitoring of the city’s command center, the container van hit the vertical limit before it got stuck under the flyover.
“There was a steel plate at the flyover and the van was damaged. The van was pulled out after 15 minutes,” command center operator Chad Rosellosa told reporters.
