REIGNING Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach will be joining the Kapamilya stars for the “ASAP” show in New York this weekend.
The Miss Universe official page announced that Pia will appear on the New York show of “ASAP” that will be held at Barclays Center on September 3.
The beauty queen is currently based in New York as part of her Miss Universe duties.
Pia is the third Filipina to win the Miss Universe crown, after Margie Moran in 1973 and Gloria Diaz in 1969.
She is a former talent of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and was part of the 2002 youth-oriented television show “K2BU” with Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao and Angelene Aguilar.
Aside from gracing the “ASAP” show, Pia will also attend the New York Fashion Week from September 8 to 15.
