A KOREAN wanted for drug charges was arrested by authorities in Lapu-Lapu City last Saturday evening.
Kim See Woong was arrested by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) after days of surveillance in which he was reportedly selling drugs in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.
PDEA Regional Chief Yogi Filemon Ruiz said Kim was arrested in 2011 but posted bail.
Kim failed to attend his court hearings so an arrest warrant was issued against him.
Kim works as a tourist guide and had been living in Cebu for 12 years.
He is detained at the PDEA regional office detention cell.
