APPRECIATE the beauty of painting as a family exhibit made in celebration of Grandparents Day, the Joyful Journey exhibit at the Bluewater Gallery of Maribago Bluewater Resort in Lapu-Lapu City, runs until October 10, 2016.
Joyful Journey is a testament of joy as the artists endlessly travel on their artistic quest. It is a manifestation of love and cooperation as their family shared and nurture their creative gifts. Above all, it is a continuing process to finding joy in what the artists do as a family of painters in a decade and more.
THE EXHIBITORS. Celso Duazo Pepito is a graduate of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines Cebu College in 1981. He defines his artistry by directing his ideas that propagate his message of hope, love of God, love of the family and concern for society. Fe Madrid Pepito, Celso’s wife, became a pioneer member of Cebu Artists Incorporated in 1994. Both Celso and Fe took part in exhibiting their works not only in Cebu and Manila, but also in foreign countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, and America.
The works of their grand children – Kharl Ravel Pepito, 6, and Mary Heart Pepito, 8 – are also showcased in the gallery.
