Tagging campaign on dengue hotspots in Cebu City

The Cebu City Health Office is tagging barangays with the highest recorded incidence of dengue cases as part of its awareness campaign for the public.

Tarpaulins with the words “Beware!!! You are entering a dengue zone’ were hung at Jakosalem Street corner Sanciangko Street in Barangay Parian following a report that the area has the most number of dengue victims in the city.

Barangay Pari-an has been identified as having ith the highest dengue incidence rate in Cebu City with 23 dengue cases as of Sept. 23, said Dr. Alma Corpin, acting Cebu City Health Office chief.

The City Health Office will also conduct lectures and seminars to educate the people on dengue.
