For tomorrow, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m., the Mariquita Salimbangon Yeung Charitable Foundation will have a board meeting at the MSY Building in Cebu Business Park.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the celebration of the foundation’s 25th anniversary, according to executive director Monette Aliño.
Also for tomorrow is the grand launch of The Residences at the Sheraton Mactan Resort in Punta Engaño. Cocktails start at 5:30 p.m. with program at 7 p.m. Resort chic is the requested attire.

The San Vicente Ferrer Behavioral Treatment Center in Iloilo City was formally launched last Sept. 25, highlighted by a blessing ceremony. This is the seventh facility of the Farm Group.
Said treatment center offers rehabilitation programs that deal with alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling disorders and anger management, as do all the other centers of the Farm Group.
But this center in Iloilo has a special twist as they also have a program that caters to persons with behavioral disorders.
The treatment program of said center is a combined eclectic twist which is the 12 Steps Program mixed with the participation of medical science and psychology as the guide to recovery.
The launching was attended by Farm Group’s Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Clemente, Chief Finance Officer Shiela Mae Cangke, Chief Operations Officer Alain Joseph Aliño and Marketing Director Ramon Escaño Jr.
Also present were their Iloilo counterparts: Dr. Mariano Hembra, Dr. Elna Tecson, Dr. Leonardo Java, Ms. Joy Robles, the psychologist and accredited rehab worker level 1, the branch center director.
Among the many guests who attended were Jay Victor Mabilog, representing his brother mayor Patrick Jed Mabilog. Barangay
Santa Cruz, where the center is located, was represented by First Councilor the Hon. Melba Gullo.
Also present was the public information officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for Region 6, David Garcia.
