Tumulak lobbies for Dumpit’s return as Tomas escort

Cebu City Councilor Dave Tumulak said he will ask PNP Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa to assign SPO1 Adonis Dumpit and two other police officers as security personnel of Mayor Tomas Osmeña.
SPO1 Adonis Dumpit reported to the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) last Monday after Chief Supt. Noli Taliño, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7), said he ordered the return of SPO1 Dumpit from the Bohol Provincial Police Office to the Cebu City police.
As chief executive, Tumulak said it’s “necessary” for Mayor Osmeña to have security personnel who has his “trust and confidence.”
Aside from Dumpit, Tumulak said he will also ask for the reassignment of SPO2 Richelle Tejano and PO3 Romeo Batuhan as the mayor’s escorts.
