IT WAS a dream come true for Janine Gutierrez to become part of the remake of the Kapuso primetime fantaserye “Encantadia.”
The character of Agua, a gabay diwa or spirit guide of the gem of water, played by the actress, first came out in last Friday’s episode.
It is her role to serve as a steward of the gem of water and Sang’gre Alena, who is the master of the Gem.
In a GMA News report, Janine shared that the role given to her is special since she has always been a fan of the first “Encantadia” as she was growing up.
Janine said she finds taping her scenes enjoyable because of the cast of “Encantadia.”
Janine also said that her character’s sexy costume came as a surprise to her.
“Sexy ‘yung damit ni Agua, medyo nabigla ako. Pero siyempre ‘Encantadia’ ‘yan, lahat ng Sang’gre magaganda at sexy, so na-pressured din po ako,” said Janine.
She said that even without lovelife, she’s happy with her life as she can focus now on work. Janine recently broke up with Elmo Magalona.
Aside from “Encantadia,” she is taping with “Usapang Real Love” and is also finishing a film.
