IS SEBASTIAN “Baste” Duterte, the youngest son of President Rodrigo Duterte having a “secret affair” with sexy actress Ellen Adarna?
Speculations were fueled after gossip website Fashion Pulis posted a photo of the two kissing taken from a private Instagram account. But it was not clear where and when the intimate shot of the rumored couple was taken.
A statement released by Baste’s management neither confirmed nor denied the authenticity of the photo.
“As the management team of Mr. Baste Duterte, we do not meddle in personal relationships of the celebrities we handle. They are entitled to be close to any persons they chose to. As for Baste, he is not married and he doesn’t label his relationships,” Betchay Vidanes, head of Vidanes Artist Management, told ABS-CBN News’ Mario Dumaual.
Both Ellen and Baste have yet to comment on the photo.
The romance reportedly started in Siargao Island, where the Cebuana actress posted several photos of them together, a few days after celebrating the birthday of her friend Beauty Gonzales in May this year. This resulted in the sexy actress being attacked online by netizens and fans of Baste.
Ellen immediately refuted the allegations, saying people were too quick to assume and that while it’s true that the youngest son of the president has a girlfriend, it’s not her.
She added that the two of them are just friends.
Baste — who has gained popularity for his bad boy looks and skills in singing and surfing when he stepped in during his father’s presidential campaign— has two kids.
Despite Ellen’s claim that they are not an item, she got the rumor mill rolling again after posting a birthday message for the President’s son.
“Madami naman nitong magkandarapa sa picture na ito. Tawanan na lang tayo,” she told Baste. (Apple Mae Ta-as)
