CEBU Gov. Hilario Davide III said he may consider allowing the families of the inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center to visit on Christmas Day.

Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale said she agreed with Davide in allowing the families of inmates to spend Christmas with them so long as security measures are in place.

“So long as it is not overnight since there is limited space. I won’t allow the families to sleep on the quadrangle, that’s too much,” the governor said.

Davide said he may also allow family visits on New Year’s Day so long as it is within visiting hours.
