HONEST CABBIE

There are still some honest taxi drivers out there as one passenger can attest.

She was in quite a hurry to meet her appointment that on reaching her destination, she forgot to collect her P40 change.

Fortunately for her, the driver immediately went out of his cab and returned the change to her.

MORE FIXERS

A government agency made quite a show of its commitment to remove corruption in their office by posting a “No Fixers” sign outside.

But eagle-eyed clients see people moving ahead of the line and being welcomed outside the gate by fixers who expedite their transactions.

NO DISCIPLINE

It seems passenger jeepney drivers have lost whatever sense of discipline they have when it comes to plying their units on the road.

One such PUJ driver refused to stop, on a red light, to give way to pedestrians who were about to cross their lane.

In an all-too-familiar scene, the driver was racing to pick up more passengers who were waiting ahead of the stop light.
