FILIPINO fans of pop music icon Britney Spears can now see their idol perform live as she is set to hold her first concert in the Philippines this June.
The news broke the internet after Britney herself announced about the concert, in all of her social media accounts yesterday.
“Excited to be performing in Manila this summer!,” her post read.
The Grammy award-winner will be holding her concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on June 15—her first concert in the country. The event will be
presented by the local clothing brand Bench, with concert organizer Wilbros Live.
No other details about the concert were revealed.
Recently voted as “Best Show in Las Vegas” and “Best Bachelorette Show in Las Vegas,” Britney is currently running a series of residency concerts in Las Vegas.
The American signer first made waves in the 90s with her hit songs “Baby One More Time” and “Oops, I did it Again.” She nearly sold 150 million records worldwide, with 70 million albums sold in US alone, as per Nielsen Music.
After nine long years, Britney released her 9th studio album entitled “Glory” and performed at the MTV Video Awards last year.
