BROWNOUT
Netizens were hopeful that the engineering students of Cebu Technological University-Main Campus would pass their exams despite being inconvenienced by a brownout caused by the irregular power supply due to last Thursday’s quake.
A netizen named Dan Louis wrote, “Great job guys I am praying for all of your to pass the exams. Very proud of you!”
Fave Velus Labrador also commented, “Idol aning mga CE sa CTU? Bahalag brownout karun pero kahayag inyong kaugmaon, pero infairness sakit sa mata na way suga (Regardless of the brownout, your future looks bright. But in fairness, it’s painful for the eyes if there’s no light).”
Another netizen named Nale Roach wrote, “I would think the university would invest in back up generators. They surely can afford them. Should the government make them mandatory?”
Esperanca Camba was quick to reply: “Yes the school does not have a generator, but with or without the generator, that was a double effort for the students and the school is doing its best to fix the problem.”
