Eight teams to join St. Ignatius V’ball Cup
EIGHT TEAMS, including one from Taiwan, have confirmed their participation in the 8th St. Ignatius Volleyball Cup, which will be held this July 22 and 23 at the Lux Oriens Gym of the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) in Canduman, Mandaue City.
Among those who are set to join the two-day spike fest include the SHS-AdC Teams A and B, University of Cebu – Banilad and the National Yilan – Senior High School of Taiwan.
“We started this tournament five years ago with Mr. (Mario) Sala to honor our patron saint Saint Ignatius of Loyola and also to prepare the team for big tournaments which start usually by September,” said organizer Emmanuel Rivera.
Completing the participants are the Don Bosco Technological Center, Pit-os National High School, Sisters of Mary Boystown, and the Abellana National School.
