Peoples General improves to 2-0

THE Peoples General 2015 nabbed its second straight win after nipping Hyksos 2013, 71-66, in Division C of the 22nd Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Basketball Tournament Powered by Common Ground last Sunday at the Magis Eagles Arena.

Joshua Cabatingan led 2015’s attack with 18 points while Anton Chua had 17 points, four boards, six assists and three steals. Lorenzo Otero and Irvin Dumol also combined for 21 markers to help 2015 grab a 2-0 win-loss mark.

In other Division C matches, Bling Nation teams 2011 and 2014 evened up their respective records at 1-1 after edging their rivals last weekend. 2014 nipped Kitrol 2003, 51-46, while 2011 beat Radar Tires 2004, 72-67.

The 2010 Omega Pain Killer routed Bizol 2005, 60-48.

In Division B, Kogi Q bagged its second win after beating 1995 Savers Depot, 71-64. Theogene Lim scored 25 points while lefty Dennis Que flirted with a triple-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds and six assists along with four steals.

San Remigio 2002 also beat King Properties 1993, 56-46, while White Gold 1996 blew away Filmon 1994, 76-42.
