Man nabbed in a buy-bust operation; firearm seized
A buy-bust operation by PDEA7 along MJ Cuenco Ave, resulting in the arrest of Ronald Aznar and confiscation of more or less 20 grams of shabu and a firearm, around 7 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, August 16.
Upon subject’s arrest, he offered to lead the agents to his source.
Aznar led the team to a house in Mabolo.
When they disembarked, Aznar grabbed one of the agent’s firearm and pushed him, forcing another agent to fire at Aznar.
Leia Albiar, PDEA 7 spokesperson, said Brgy officials have reported that residents have seen the subject frequenting the area with his firearm visible.
“Some residents said he also introduced himself as a PDEA agent,” Albiar said.
