MARIEL de Leon’s family will be watching her next week as she competes in the Miss International 2017 pageant in Tokyo.
The beauty queen’s mother, actress Sandy Andolong, posted a photo of her with husband, Christopher de Leon and Mica on their way to Japan.
“On our way to Akita. Habang papunta naki pag chat muna sila with @gabthebear @camiejuan,” Andolong said.
As of yesterday, there have been no photos of Mariel with her parents.
The Miss International pageant will be held on November 14 in Tokyo, Japan.
The country is hopeful that Mariel will give a back-to-back win after Kylie Versoza won the crown in 2016.
Andolong also posted another photo of the family visiting The Shrine of Our Lady Akita.
“What a peaceful and beautiful place. We all felt recharged after praying their wooden chapel and touring their garden with one of the sweetest and most simple, humble, gentle nun I’ve ever met,” Andolong captioned the photo.
