At least P500,000 church money and P10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen by unidentified burglars in Barangay Tunghaan, Minglanilla on Sunday.
The victims were identified as Jennifer Taño, a government teacher and Crisanto Taño, who is a pastor of Baptist church.
SPO1 Francisco Salubre of Minglanilla Police station said that the intruders broke into the couple’s home by destroying the window grill at the back portion of the house.
Salubre added that the couple attended religious activities in Cebu City when the incident happen.
The Minganilla police are now conducting an investigation to arrest the suspects.
