Toledo candidates rush to beat COC-filing deadline for barangay, SK polls

A day before the deadline for the filing of Certificate of Candidacy (COC), candidates for Barangay and SK elections flocked to Comelec Toledo City.

Lawyer Michael Sarno, Comelec officer of Toledo City, said that as early as 6 a.m., the priority number issued by the Comelec staff already queued to 200.

As of this writing, Sarno said they still could not determine the exact number of candidates who filed for the Barangay and SK positions.
