CEBU’s Rider Omega Tri Team won seven titles in two separate races over the weekend.
The team topped six different categories in the Tri-Merida in Leyte and ruled one category in the DX3 Dirt Cross Triathlon in Bogo City, north Cebu.
In the Leyte race, winners for the team were Cianyl Gonzales, Karen Andrea Manayon, Ivan Delica, Joland Olmilla, Welmar Saavedra, and Edwin Yu.
The team also had four podium finishes after Marielle Estreba settled for second behind Manayon in the female sprint distance and Renzo Mar
Pahaganas placed second in the 19-under male sprint distance category. Vic Montebon claimed the number two spot in the male standard distance while Justice Sousa claimed the third place honors in the standard distance male category.
In the DX3 Cross Triathlon, the Rider Omega Triathlon Team topped the relay category.
Organizers of both races were not able to provide the official times of the winners.
