SENIOR keglers Joseph Yu and Cynthia Uybengkee won in the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) Friday Group weekly bowling tournament last Saturday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
The 25-handicapper Yu outclassed others in the Men’s Division after reaping scores of 200, 178, 192 and 182 for a total of 852 pinfalls in the four-game competition.
Rey Velarde finished second place by scoring 221, 183, 175 and 188 for a total of 847 pinfalls. Roland Bantilan landed at third place with a total of 834 pinfalls off scores of 160, 221, 194 and 199.
Senior keglers Fred Torrequemada (806) and Danny Sabang (800) rounded up the top five in the men’s competition.
Uybengkee, on the other hand, ruled the Women’s Division by tallying the scores of 161, 159, 145 and 164 for a total of 845 pinfalls.
Trailing her was Cristilyn Tan, who scored 160, 159, 145 and 164 for a total 772 pinfalls.
Sam Camero placed third place by knocking down 734 pinfalls off scores of 178, 135, 154 and 123.
Fourth to sixth placers were Rose Camero (722), Johna Calipay (686) and Erica Kim (647).
