Cordova’s police cannot respond to alarms since three of their patrol vehicles are still being repaired.

Senior Insp. Janus Giangan, Cordova police chief, said their two remaining vehicles are used only for operations and official business. “The parts of the three vehicles are unavailable in stores,” he said.

Giangan said they are borrowing vehicles from the Cordova municipal hall for their patrols. Senior Supt. Manuel Abrugena, Cebu provincial police chief, said they requested for additional vehicles for Cordova from the Police Regional Office.
