New PDEA-7 director to prioritize drug rehabilitation

Lawyer Wardley Getalla, the new director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA-7), plans to establish drug reformatory facilities in the region.

Getalla said that arresting drug users and sellers is not enough to address the drug menace in Cebu,

He hopes to launch the Balay Silangan for drug pushers in Cebu anytime soon.

The new PDEA-7 director paid a courtesy visit to Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña on Wednesday (August 8.)
