Security measures in place at CSBT
CEBU CITY, Philippines — Security plans are in place to ensure a peaceful Holy Week exodus at the Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT).
CSBT personnel has not recorded any crime or suspicious activity as of Tuesday, April 16, 2019, a good indication as the commemoration of the Holy Week progresses.
But the CSBT Operations Manager Jonathan Tumulak is not letting his guard down yet especially that massive exodus of people will only happen beginning Holy Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
In an interview with CDN Digital, Tumulak said they will continue to have a considerable number of security personnel, who will be stationed at the terminal.
Tumulak said he was not surprised with the results of the drug test conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA-7) and the Cebu Provincial Government on Monday, April 15, 2019.
No one among the 179 bus drivers and conductors tested positive for illegal drug use.
