MANILA-Soon, the faces of the country’s top four fugitives – Ruben Ecleo Jr., the Reyes brothers, and Jovito Palparan – will be splashed on Facebook and Twitter.

Following the proposal of Sen.  Ralph Recto to upload profiles and pictures of the country’s most wanted persons, the PN  Criminal Investigation and Detection Group said that it would heed  the senator’s call.

Last March 22, Recto proposed the creation of a Facebook account showing the list of the country’s most wanted criminals, including their mug shots.

Chief Supt. Benjamin Magalong, CIDG chief,  said he fully supports the online posting of the rogue’s gallery.

“We should maximize the use of social media, especially now that we are intensifying our efforts in hunting down the top five fugitives,” Magalong said.
