Barangay Luz officials call for coordination meeting with landlords

MANDAUE CITY, Cebu – Officials in Barangay Luz in Cebu City are calling for a coordination meeting with owners of rooms for rent in their area on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, to discuss measures that will help prevent the continued increase in the number of cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The gathering will be held at 1 p.m. at the gymnasium in Sitio Kalinao, the barangay’s advisory reads.

Luz was COVID-free for two months before the barangay’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) started to monitor new infections this January, blaming new cases on “outside viral transmissions.”
