If Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama would have his way, he wanted President Aquino and Vice President Jejomar Binay not just to join forces, but also to switch places in the 2016 elections.

“I’m very serious about it. Who will question the economic gains that P-Noy had,” he told reporters.

Rama, who is allied with the United Nationalist Alliance of which Binay is one of the titular heads, said he will place his bet on Binay whom he labelled as the “master of politics” instead of supporting the tandem of Senators Grace Poe and Chiz Escudero whose names are being floated as the team to beat in 2016.

“Binay is the master of politics. He won as vice president. There is political genius in him,” he said.

Rama said that with Binay’s high ratings in the Pulse Asia survey, it is not impossible for him to win as president.

“He is formidable, unbeatable and beyond imagination,” Rama added.
