Adlawan wins race held in hometown

Cebuano motocross hot shot Jon Eleazar Adlawan showed off in his hometown, dominating the pro open and pro lite divisions of the fifth leg of the Man and Machine Supercross Series 2014 held last weekend in Lipata, Minglanilla.

Adlawan edged fellow Cebuano and former teammate Jubenile Abellar in the pro open division and topped the pro-lite division over Pangasinan’s Rhowell “Bornok” Mangosong IV.

Meanwhile, Jb Bacabac edged Cebuano John Flores and Scott Remi to lord the novice division.

Peping Mar outraced Jp Cuesta and Jr Gugudan to dominate the beginners division.

RK Cuesta remained the queen in the women’s division after two legs, edging her rival Marielle Mae Villafuerta and Shayne Reluya.

Cebuano veteran rider Pepo Rubi, Elton See and Roscel Gungob topped the veterans A,B and C, respectively. Dongkey Sanchez placed first in the open enduro while Clinton Gualiza topped the local enduro.

Esrael Larido ruled the underbone division while Jacob Orbe emerged victorious the intermediate division.

In the KLX Kawasaki division, siblings Adrian and Seth Anthonie Peralta emerged victorious while their brother Shaun Timothy Peralta topped the peewee 50cc. Bill Pepito Jr placed first in the mini division.

More than a hundred riders joined the race organized by Man and Machine Racing Promotions.
