Gas up at Shell and build Lego collectibles
FILLING up at Shell stations has become more exciting.
This as Shell launched recently its new Shell V-Power Nitro+ Lego Collection, which gives motorists a chance to purchase limited-edition buildable Ferrari models made out of Lego bricks.
The new Ferrari models and Lego playsets are available exclusively at Shell stations nationwide with P1,500 single or accumulated purchase of Shell quality fuels.
With a minimum fill-up of P1,500, customers are able to purchase one of six Lego models for P150 (for Shell V-Power Nitro+ fuels) or P180 (for Shell FuelSave fuels).
Shell Helix buyers can also get a free Lego set for every purchase of 4L Shell Helix HX7 or 6L Shell Helix HX7 Diesel. Upgrading to 4L of Shell Helix Ultra or 6L Shell Helix Ultra pack will give customers two free Lego models.
“The new Shell V-Power Nitro+ Lego Collection builds on the success of the first range of collectibles in 2012, and we hope that with it, we can continue to capture the imagination of customers and motorsports fans young and old to construct their very own racing world,” Pilipinas Shell Vice President for Retail Anthony Lawrence Yam said in a press release.
The Lego models included in the promotion are a Shell station with a Shell scientist Lego minifigure, a finish line and podium with a Scuderia Ferrari engineer Lego minifigure, a Ferrari F12berlinetta, a Ferrari 512 S, a Ferrari F138 and a Ferrari 250 GTO.
Selected members of the Cebu media and their families were given a chance to get up close with these models in an exhibit and media launch last Saturday at the Golden Cowrie Restaurant, SM City-Cebu branch.
Aside from these collectibles, Pilipinas Shell also brought to Cebu a life-size Lego Formula One car inspired by the Ferrari 150 Italia, which was built by Ferrari to specifically compete in the Formula One World Championship. It was displayed for two days at the Atrium B of SM City-Cebu.
