According to Tordios, Sanchez then fought with her boyfriend believing that he was seeing another woman. It was at this juncture that Veloso allegedly intervened which angered Sanchez.
Tordios relayed that Sanchez became enraged at Veloso after she found out that Racal was meeting up with another woman inside the victim’s house.
Mad that her friend was covering up her lover’s infidelity, Sanchez allegedly drew a gun and tried to shoot Veloso in the head.
However, the gun did not fire which caused her to fire again, hitting the victim on the arm. The bullet went through to his leg because he was sitting down, stated Tordios.
After the incident, both Sanchez and Racal allegedly fled and headed to Talisay City while the victim was rushed to the Talisay City District Hospital for immediate medical treatment.
The pair separated on Thursday night according to the woman.
She told police that she ended up in Barangay Dumlog while her boyfriend went to Barangay Campo Cuatro.
