Police said Maria Belen Amamangpang was with her helper Carmel Bascones aboard a motorcycle when the robbery occurred in barangay Obo.

Police said when the motorcycle driven by Jonathan Amancio,33, reached a blind curve in sitio Paling-paling, two men on a motorcycle flagged them down.

The two men then drew guns and declared a hold-up.  One of the robbers struck Amancio in the head with a gun.  Amancio ran, leaving the two women behind.

Police said one of the robbers sprayed Amamangpang’s eyes  with  tear gas  before taking her sling bag containing the money.
