By: Norman V. Mendoza September 12,2015 - 01:16 AM

A private resort in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City donated a lot to the city government to be  used as an access road to other beach resorts and dive shops as well residents.

The  1,093-square meter lot is worth more than P10 million.

The property was acquired in the ‘80s by Arcadio Alegrado, father of Julie Christie Alegrado Vergara, who now sits as  president of the Alenter Resort Hotel Corporation, owner of Maribago Bluewater Resort.

Maribago barangay captain Joseph Pangatungan  Vergara did not hesitate to donate the lot for the benefit of the community and businesses in the area.

A deed of  donation was signed over yesterday in favor of Lapu-Lapu city.  The road will be named after Arcadio.
