Lennon to announce Pinoy Pride 33 card
CARSON, CA–No less than the legendary Jimmy Lennon Jr. has been tapped to act as the official announcer when the main fights of this Saturday’s “Pinoy Pride 33: Philippines Vs The World” takes place at the StubHub Center, here.
This was announced yesterday by ALA Promotions president and CEO Michael Aldeguer in front of the international media covering the event during the final press conference held at the Community Hall of Carson Civic Center.
“Yes, Jimmy Lennon Jr. will announce the fights. And he may also be able to make it for the weigh-in tomorrow,” said the youthful Aldeguer, who also announced to the media a four-bout plan in the pipeline for next year in another installment of the successful “Pinoy Pride” series.
Lennon has been the the major announcer for some of the biggest fights in boxing history, and his involvement in the event will definitely be a major factor as the series looks to win more fans in the United States following several high-profile events in the Philippines and Dubai.
