The Bavarian festival celebration was held at the beachfront, a unique take on the occasion given that it is celebrated in Germany on the streets. Gracing the occasion was the German Ambassador to the Philippines, Thomas Ossowski who tapped the beer keg with the resort manager Kristofer Quadros. Traditional Bavarian music and some pop songs were played by the 11-man brass band from Munich, the Bavarian Sound Express.
