FOR the second straight year, the Mactan Health and Fitness Facility (MHFF) will be hosting the Kadaugan Color Fun Run “Let’s Go Na!” slated April 23 in Lapu-Lapu City.
The run, which is supported by the Lapu-Lapu City government, will feature three-kilometer, six-kilometer and 12-kilometer races.
Gun start will be at 3:30 p.m., said Cheryl Ouano, owner of MHFF. Last year’s race started and ended in front of MHFF near the old Mandaue-Mactan Bridge in barangay Pajo.
“For this year, the race will start and end at the grounds of Hoops Dome in Barangay Gun-ob. Mayor Paz Radaza wanted the race to be held far from the old bridge to avoid creating traffic in the area,” said Ouano.
Cash prizes will be given to top finishers. Registration fees are pegged at P200 for the 3k race, P250 for the 6k race and P300 for the 12k race. For more inquiries, one may contact landline number 406-0474 and mobile numbers 0922-8852100 and 0917-8088818.
